Here are a few more pictures from the blizzard.
What we saw when we looked outside our front door this morning (that fence is 4'):
Putting it all in perspective, my daughter is around 3' tall:
More perspective:
The back yard once it stopped snowing (this is where I measured the 30"):
This evening, check out those snow piles!
The storm started around 11:30am/12:00pm on the 5th and did not stop until 3pm today, the 6th. When it was finished we had 30" in the back yard (and in some places a little more). There are 6-8' piles of snow on either side of the driveway. Not sure what the rest of the weekend/week will be like, but one thing is for certain -- it is going to be days before our street is totally clear!

I haven't been in a blizzard since I was your daughter's age. It looks kinda fun!
It's fun to see the pictures. Guess I can stop complaining about it being chilly here in South Carolina!
So much snow! Hope you're safe and warm!
I have an award for you at my blog: http://bookwormcouchpotato.blogspot.com/2010/02/spreading-award-love.html
Those hills next to the driveway look like they would be fun to slide down. :) That is an amazing amount of snow!
The pictures are beautiful - but I do not envy you shoveling the walk the driveway!
Hope the electricity stays on and you can keep warm!
