The Bluestockings Society has posted their Lit Flicks Challenge which begins today and runs until the end of February.
The goal of this challenge is for participants to pick five books that have been adapted to film, read the books, and then watch at least two of the movie adaptations. Three very extensive lists are available to view (linked from) Bluestockings' website, though participants are not required to select from this list. In addition to this challenge prizes and giveaways will be available to all participants over the coming weeks and months, information available through Bluestockings' website.

I signed up to participate and will be posting my reviews here when I finish each of my five books and have seen the corresponding movie. Honestly it was really hard to choose only five! In the end I picked a couple of the books because they were already on my "To Be Read" list, a couple simply from curiosity, and a couple because they will fit into another challenge that I've taken on at the Classics Challenge 2008.
